This module takes an indepth approach into explaining what the blockchain and cryptocurrency is all about. As a participant, you get to learn and understand the blockchain technology including the blockchain consensus mechanism as well as an overview of the history and applications of virtual currencies.In addition, you will learn about cryptography, the various categories of cryptocurrencies and ICOs.

In this module you will explore the various cryptocurrencies utilized in financial crime, as well as the use of cryptocurrencies in the dark web market place and the different crimes committed with cryptocurrency which includes Money Laundering(ML) and Terrorist financing. You will also get an in depth knowledge on the role of cryptocurrency exchanges in financial crimes.

The laws guiding the use of cryptocurrencies may vary slightly for different countries. This module aims to help you understand the various international cryptocurrency laws and regulation, as well as clarifying the different legal status of cryptocurrencies. As a participant, you are opportuned to get updated cryptocurrency laws and regulations around the world.

In this module you will understand the meaning of compliance, get basic facts of compliance in the traditional finance system and the recent transition into cryptocurrencies as well as an extensive study into cryptocurrency compliance fundamentals. You will also be guided on your duties as a compliance officer which includes building an effective AML compliance program as well as risk assessment strategies to be implemented by companies where you would offer your services at.

In this module, you will explore some regulatory bodies and their regulations which includes OFAC and FATF regulations. Are there any prerequisites for 3CS?

The trainings is designed for compliance officers, Virtual Assets Providers(VASPs) and Over The Counter(OTC) traders using different cryptocurrecncy compliance tools, hence participants are expected to be proactive and understand the basics of blockchain technology.

What is the cost of training?

The cost of the on-site training event is $1,000 per person, which includes five(5) days of on-site, in-person training, personal training materials, catered lunches, an exam administration, and a hands-on practical session for participants.

Is is possible for my whole team to be certified?

What certification will I get from the training?

Taking all 5 modules and passing the final exam earns you the credential of the Certified Cryptocurrency Compliance Specialist(3CS) from A&D Forensics Institute. Graduates will be awarded a hardcopy of their certificate after completion.

What format of questions are on the final test?

For the exams, most of the questions are multiple choice. There are also some true/false questions and a few questions that ask you to match things to other things.

Will there be a test for all module? or a final test at the end of all modules?

Both. There are multiple lessons in each module, and at the end of each lesson there is a short quiz. Then, at the end of each module there is a test. Finally, at the end of all the modules there is a final test, which is the test you need to pass to earn the credential of Certified Cryptocurrency Compliance Specialist.

When is the registration deadline?

Since our training focuses on a hands-on approach, the lab has a limited capacity and often fill up more than 1 month in advance. Hence, when you decide on the cohort to partake in, we advise that you plan ahead to sign up so as to ensure your spot.

After registration, how will i know if i’ve been approved and receive more information?

You will be contacted via email confirming your course registration. In addition, we will also be in touch 1 week before the scheduled date for the comencment of the training. A final email will be sent 48 hours before the start of the course to remind you of the plans. In a subsequent email, you will get your invoice alongside payment choices.
